Pharmaceutical Technologist

About the role

The Pharmaceutical Technologist will work on‑site in Nairobi, Kiambu and Muranga Counties, preparing and compounding medications in line with prescriptions and Kenyan regulatory standards. The role supports daily pharmacy operations, ensuring accuracy, safety and high‑quality service for patients and healthcare teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and compound medicines according to prescribed formulas and regulatory guidelines.
• Dispense medications, verify prescription details and maintain accurate documentation.
• Monitor stock levels, manage inventory and ensure proper labeling and storage of pharmaceutical products.
• Provide clear information to patients and colleagues about dosage, usage and possible side effects.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to uphold standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized and compliant work environment.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Pharmacy Technology or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Valid registration or licensing with the relevant pharmacy regulatory body, where applicable.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational ability and adherence to ethical standards.
• Ability to work on‑site in Thika and Kimbo‑Ruiru and thrive in a fast‑paced pharmacy setting.
