Pharmaceutical Technologist (Pharm Tech)

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Pharmaceutical Technologist to join our team in Nairobi. The role involves accurate medication dispensing, inventory management and providing professional support to patients and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescription and over‑the‑counter medications and give clear usage instructions.
• Monitor stock levels, track expiry dates and ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products.
• Maintain detailed dispensing records and support regulatory inspections.
• Provide guidance on medication use, answer customer inquiries and deliver high‑quality patient care.

Required profile

• Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy setting.
• Registered and licensed by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB).

Required skills

• Good knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs, dosages and dispensing practices.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
