Pharmacy Sales Representative – Mombasa

About the role

Our client, a multinational consumer healthcare company, is looking for a proactive Pharmacy Sales Representative to promote pharmaceutical products to pharmacies and healthcare professionals in Mombasa. The role focuses on driving sales, building relationships, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Actively promote and sell the client’s pharmaceutical products to pharmacies, meeting sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships within the pharmacy channel to maximise business opportunities.
• Conduct market analysis to identify potential clients and understand the competitive landscape.
• Maintain comprehensive product knowledge and provide accurate information to pharmacists and staff.
• Deliver in‑store training sessions (approximately six Lunch & Learn sessions per month).
• Coordinate efforts of assigned third‑party merchandising agents.
• Prepare regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and client feedback.
• Negotiate orders, shelf space, and forward share to drive product consumption.
• Ensure compliance with customer relationship management tools and company policies.

Required profile

• University degree, preferably in science, medical, paramedical, or FMCG fields.
• Minimum 3 years proven experience in pharmaceutical sales or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently to achieve sales goals.
