About the role

Our Just Kids physical therapists deliver comprehensive physical therapy services within an interdisciplinary model, working both in group and one‑on‑one settings to support children’s gross‑motor development. The role involves using a range of equipment and treatment modalities, collaborating with families, and addressing specialized adaptive equipment needs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individualized and group physical therapy sessions for children.
• Utilise various treatment modalities and equipment to enhance gross‑motor skills.
• Assess and recommend adaptive equipment such as strollers, wheelchairs, classroom seating, and orthotics.
• Conduct initial and supplemental PT evaluations on a fee‑for‑service basis.
• Participate in productivity‑enhancement bonus programs.

Required profile

• B.S. in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current New York State license or limited permit to practice under a licensed therapist.
• New graduates are welcome; experienced therapists will provide training and mentorship.

Required skills

• Proficiency with physical therapy equipment and treatment modalities.
• Knowledge of adaptive equipment selection and fitting.
• Understanding of orthotic devices for foot and ankle stability.
