Playgroup – Grade 2 Resident Teacher (Eldoret Primary)

About the role

Nova Pioneer is seeking enthusiastic Playgroup‑Grade 2 Resident Teachers for its Eldoret Primary campus, starting in January 2027. Teachers will deliver an inquiry‑based, 21st‑century learning experience for young learners, fostering curiosity, collaboration and critical thinking.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a safe, welcoming environment where children feel comfortable to learn and play.
• Plan and implement daily activities that address social, physical and emotional development.
• Develop, review and update schemes of work and lesson plans in line with the school curriculum.
• Set and administer assessments, monitor progress and produce written reports for parents and school leaders.
• Prepare teaching aids, games and learning materials, ensuring all equipment is clean and safe.
• Supervise children during learning and play, observing and evaluating individual development.
• Assist in organising extra‑curricular programmes, school events and cultural activities such as Kiswahili competitions.

Required profile

• Passion for early childhood and primary education.
• Willingness to start in January 2027 and work on‑site at the Eldoret campus.
• Ability to collaborate with a teaching team and contribute to school events.
• Strong communication skills for reporting progress to parents and school leadership.
