PLC/DLC Boiler Supervisor – Engineering

About the role

The PLC/DLC Boiler Supervisor will lead a team responsible for the safe and efficient operation of PLC/DLC‑controlled boilers (≈20 TPH) that feed steam to a turbine. Reporting to the Lead Cogen, the role ensures continuous steam supply, compliance with safety standards, and optimal plant performance.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and enforce safety standards for all personnel.
• Supervise daily operation of boilers, turbines, generators and auxiliary equipment.
• Coordinate with Engineering for power production, unit start‑ups, shutdowns and hourly loading.
• Troubleshoot and resolve plant operating issues affecting safety, reliability or efficiency.
• Maintain detailed operational records and prepare shift reports.
• Lead training and on‑the‑job mentoring for shift operators.
• Oversee routine housekeeping and ensure site tidiness.
• Manage emergency response and corrective actions.
• Conduct performance reviews, set goals and monitor manpower utilization.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years (60 months) experience in boiler, turbine or generator operations.
• Senior‑level qualification with proven supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and utility systems.
• Ability to lead a team, train staff and manage shift documentation.
