Presales Consultant

About the role

CSM Technologies is looking for a skilled Presales Consultant to join its Business Development team. You will be responsible for shaping bid strategies, creating compelling proposals, and presenting technical solutions to international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop winning bid strategies and build opportunities from scratch.
• Conceptualise solutions and create PowerPoint presentations for proposals.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of proposals, ensuring timeliness, quality and 100% compliance.
• Define bid plans, manage schedules, resources and budgets.
• Collaborate with internal SMEs, external stakeholders and negotiate pricing.
• Demonstrate products/solutions to clients, including C‑level executives.
• Analyse bid competitiveness and provide benchmarking data.
• Manage multiple opportunities simultaneously and guide team members.
• Conduct internal best‑practice sessions and support cross‑functional teams (HR, Finance, Marketing, BSS).
• Maintain repository updates and MIS compliance.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience in IT presales or a similar role.
• Experience handling international clients (US, Middle‑East, Africa).
• Strong presentation skills, able to engage C‑level audiences.
• In‑depth knowledge of proposal writing, tender participation, bid management, RFP/RFI processes.
• Understanding of the sales process and ability to support sales teams.
• Business acumen to link technical solutions with customer ROI.
