Principal Engineer – Network & Cloud Security

About the role

The Principal Engineer – Network & Cloud Security leads the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of security controls that protect enterprise networks, hybrid infrastructures, and multi‑cloud environments. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Cyber Prevent, this role ensures AI‑enabled, always‑on protection while enabling business agility.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy converged security architectures across on‑premise, hybrid, and multi‑cloud platforms.
• Implement AI‑driven security controls that operate continuously to detect and mitigate threats.
• Enforce Zero Trust principles and automated security policies throughout the enterprise.
• Develop and maintain cloud‑native protection mechanisms for workloads and data.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to embed security without hindering performance.
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to emerging cyber threats across all environments.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in network and cloud security engineering.
• Proven track record of building and managing Zero Trust architectures.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML applications in security operations.
• Ability to translate security requirements into automated, scalable solutions.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a proactive risk‑reduction mindset.
