Procurement Senior Coordinator – BU Support

About the role

The Tupande Procurement Senior Coordinator supports One Acre Fund’s Kenya operations by overseeing procurement projects that align with business‑unit needs. The role ensures efficient spend control, robust supplier relationships, and continuous improvement of procurement processes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate high‑quality procurement projects from start to finish, including documentation and purchase‑order processing.
• Develop and maintain project tracking tools such as sourcing plans and risk registers.
• Monitor project timelines, flag risks or delays promptly, and provide analysis and market research to inform category strategies.
• Manage supplier and stakeholder relationships to ensure contract compliance and adapt approaches to evolving business priorities.
• Collaborate closely with assigned Business Units to clarify requirements, resolve issues early, and act as the liaison between Procurement and BUs.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing full procurement lifecycles for operational needs.
• Strong analytical ability to conduct market research and risk assessments.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with a focus on supplier relationship management.
• Ability to develop and use tracking tools for project oversight.
