Product Engineer (AI-Native)

About the role

We are seeking a senior Product Engineer who will own AI‑native product features from problem definition through production. You will work remotely as an individual contributor within an international team, leveraging AI agents as primary development partners.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end feature development, including design, testing, deployment and production monitoring.
• Engage directly with external providers to obtain sandbox access, review documentation and define integration requirements.
• Collaborate with AI agents to generate specifications and delegate coding tasks, then critically review and validate their output.
• Ensure reliability and correctness of systems, especially those handling financial transactions.

Required profile

• Senior‑level backend engineering or software architecture experience with full‑stack ownership of complex production systems.
• Proven ability to work independently, thrive in ambiguous environments and make technical product decisions without detailed specifications.
• Strong critical‑thinking skills for inspecting, debugging and improving AI‑generated code.

Required skills

• Extensive hands‑on experience with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex or comparable tools.
• Backend development expertise and experience with system architecture, integrations and deployment pipelines.
