Production Supervisor – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

The Production Supervisor will lead daily production activities on the shop floor, ensuring compliance with cGMP, safety standards and quality requirements while meeting production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce cGMP, SOPs, safety and quality standards through GMP rounds and documentation review.
• Supervise material receipt, verification, packing and batch documentation to guarantee accurate release.
• Coordinate manpower, machines and materials to achieve production and efficiency goals.
• Monitor machine breakdowns, schedule maintenance and update SOPs as needed.
• Lead staff performance management, training and disciplinary actions.
• Support audits, inspections and health‑and‑safety compliance, raising deviations and change controls when required.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Production, Manufacturing, Engineering, Pharmacy or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing/packaging operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of cGMP and Quality Management Systems.

Required skills

• cGMP compliance and SOP implementation.
• Batch documentation and release procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
