Professor – Industrial Robot Systems (Full‑Time)

About the role
Responsible for teaching and supervising students, conducting research, publishing scholarly work, and contributing to academic and departmental activities within the Institute.
Key responsibilities
- Establish and lead research partnerships and collaborations nationally, regionally and internationally.
- Initiate and lead external bids for research funding and consultancies.
- Design and deliver innovative course curricula and assess student learning outcomes.
- Supervise theses, dissertations, internships and mentor academic staff and students.
- Champion dissemination of research outputs and collaborate with industry for technology transfer and commercialization.
Required profile
- Earned PhD in a relevant field from an accredited university.
- At least five years teaching experience as an Associate Professor or nine years research experience.
- Minimum 60 publications, with at least 40 in refereed scholarly journals.
- Supervised at least ten doctoral students to completion and five master’s students.
- Evidence of patents or commercialised innovations (preferred).
