Program Associate, Strategic Impact Evaluation and Learning

About the role

The Program Associate, Strategic Impact Evaluation and Learning (SIEL) supports a six‑year learning partnership between the UK FCDO, IPA and J‑PAL. The role assists the Program Lead in managing grants, developing projects and communicating across four strategic priority areas: growth, humanitarian assistance, climate and nature, and conflict and fragility.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the competitive research funding process, draft calls for proposals, manage proposal reviews and develop grant agreements.
• Track grant and project status, maintain up‑to‑date Salesforce records and ensure compliance with donor reporting requirements.
• Support project development by conducting outreach, liaising with FCDO teams, and matching researchers with relevant projects.
• Assist in preparing materials for dissemination, website updates, events and capacity‑strengthening activities.
• Provide financial monitoring support and contribute to IPA’s diversity, equity and inclusion tracking.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, political science, public policy or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in project or research management, research fund management or research dissemination.
• Strong project‑management abilities with attention to operational detail.
