Program Manager – Kenya & Somalia (Kenyan Nationals Only)

About the role
The Programme Manager reports directly to the Country Representative and provides strategic leadership for the entire programme portfolio across Kenya and Somalia. This senior position is part of the Country Management Team and is responsible for ensuring that all interventions are relevant, impactful, donor‑compliant and aligned with LWF’s global and country strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Lead programme strategy, quality assurance, resource mobilisation and partnership development.
- Oversee programme growth, performance management and organisational learning.
- Ensure interventions are accountable, donor‑compliant and aligned with LWF’s strategic objectives.
- Advise the Country Representative on all programme‑related matters.
- Manage and mentor a diverse, multi‑sector team operating in humanitarian and development contexts.
Required profile
- Outstanding and highly experienced professional with a proven track record in programme management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate a diverse, multi‑sector team across Kenya and Somalia.
