Program Support and Reporting Consultant

About the role

The IOM Somalia Mission needs a short‑term consultant to provide surge capacity for reporting, communications, monitoring and evaluation within the CCCM programme. The role supports El Niño preparedness and response activities while ensuring continuity of core functions.

Key responsibilities

• Produce regular analytical updates on displacement trends, emerging risks and response actions related to El Niño.
• Develop high‑quality donor and internal reports, briefings and visual content.
• Design and implement monitoring and evaluation methodologies, including data collection and analysis.
• Support communication outputs and information products as required.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a relevant field with at least two years of professional experience, or a bachelor’s degree with four years of experience.
• Experience working on CCCM programmes in IDP, refugee or migration settings.
• Proven ability to produce detailed reports and conduct monitoring and evaluation.
• Fluency in English and Somali, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office suite.
• Data collection tools such as Kobo Collect and Open Data Kit (ODK).
• Adobe InDesign (asset).
