Programmable Logic Controller Operator

About the role

Our client is seeking a skilled Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Operator to join their manufacturing team in Nakuru. You will be responsible for programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining PLC‑based automation systems that keep production running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Program, test, and commission PLCs from Siemens, Allen‑Bradley and Schneider.
• Troubleshoot and resolve faults in automated process control systems.
• Maintain and calibrate Variable Frequency Drives, sensors, actuators and servo systems.
• Support HMI, SCADA and industrial communication networks.
• Work with Bühler automation equipment and WinCos software.
• Document changes and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation & Control, Industrial Automation or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience with Bühler automation systems and WinCos.
