About the role
The Programme Coordinator will lead the planning and execution of the Fistula health program, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and effective stakeholder collaboration. Reporting directly to the CEO, the role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on coordination of activities, budgets and community engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Program Manager to define goals, objectives and strategies.
- Implement program activities according to established timelines and milestones.
- Build and maintain relationships with external organisations, agencies and service providers.
- Act as the primary liaison between all program stakeholders, ensuring clear communication.
- Engage community members, participants and partners to raise awareness and drive participation.
- Prepare and monitor program budgets, track expenditures and optimise resource allocation.
- Coordinate logistics, including personnel, materials and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with legal and organisational standards and prepare documentation for reviews.
- Develop promotional materials, lead outreach activities and represent the organisation at relevant forums.
- Implement data collection systems, analyse outcomes and participant feedback.
- Produce comprehensive reports for internal and external audiences.
- Maintain accurate records, schedule meetings and manage program documentation.
- Identify improvement opportunities and implement enhancements based on evaluations.
- Safeguard program data, uphold confidentiality and prepare NDAs when required.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree (field relevant to health or program management).
- Minimum 24 months of experience in program coordination or project management.
- Mid‑level professional experience, preferably within the healthcare sector.
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
- Proven experience in budgeting, financial tracking and resource optimisation.
