About the role
The International Transformation Foundation is seeking a motivated Project Assistant to support its community‑focused initiatives across Kenya. This position offers hands‑on experience in project planning, field work, and stakeholder coordination within a youth‑led non‑profit environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in planning and implementing ITF projects and community activities.
- Conduct field visits, community assessments, and monitor project progress.
- Prepare and compile project and activity reports, including documentation and photos.
- Coordinate community meetings, trainings, workshops, and awareness events.
- Support budgeting, logistics, and operational coordination for projects.
- Collect data for monitoring and evaluation and contribute to reporting.
- Liaise with volunteers, schools, community leaders, and beneficiaries.
- Help organize project launches and engagement activities.
Required profile
- Age between 18 and 30 years.
- Commitment of at least six months.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Community Development, Social Sciences, Environmental Studies, Development Studies, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Willingness to work in diverse, multicultural communities and participate in field activities.
Required skills
- Good report writing and computer proficiency.
