Project Supervisor - Garment Manufacturing

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time Project Supervisor in Ruakara within the garment manufacturing industry. The role oversees production planning, quality control and line management for school uniform and fashion sweater lines.

Key responsibilities

• Production planning: develop and monitor production schedules to meet delivery timelines, allocate resources and coordinate workflow between departments.
• Quality control: implement quality standards, conduct inspections at each stage of production and identify defects with corrective recommendations.
• Team coordination: supervise production staff, assign daily tasks, provide training and mentorship.
• Line management: oversee school uniform and fashion sweater lines, ensure adherence to design specifications and balance bulk orders with premium fashion items.
• Reporting: prepare progress reports, track output, efficiency and defect rates, and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• Diploma in Textile Engineering, Fashion Design or Production Management.
• At least 3 years of experience in knitwear or garment manufacturing.
• Proven experience managing both school uniform and fashion sweater lines.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of garment production processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
