Quality Assurance Coordinator

About the role

The Quality Assurance Coordinator will support the quality team on the production floor, ensuring that raw materials, intermediate products and finished goods meet all required specifications. The role involves proactive monitoring, reporting, and corrective action management to maintain zero deviation from client specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct factory rounds to identify and address quality issues in real time.
• Prepare and submit product and department performance reports, including Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
• Take minutes and chair CAPA meetings when the reporting manager is absent, ensuring corrective actions are fully implemented.
• Perform root cause analysis for non‑conforming products and follow up on corrective actions.
• Handle customer complaints, generate reports, and implement preventive measures.
• Prepare Miraflex cleaning chemicals and ensure testing equipment is safe and functional.
• Manage quality department staff schedules, leave, and off‑days.
• Train staff on quality parameters, GMP, GHP and GLP.
• Oversee sample retrieval, storage, lab arrangement and housekeeping.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science or a related scientific field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment; paper industry experience is a plus.
• Understanding of manpower planning, budgeting, basic production procedures, safety precautions and good manufacturing practices.
