Real Estate Research Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a meticulous Real Estate Research Assistant to conduct in‑depth property, ownership, lien, and tax research using a variety of public record sources. The role is fully remote, structured, and performance‑driven, ideal for an analytical professional who thrives in a camera‑on environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a queue of assigned orders and perform detailed research using county, city, state, and other public record databases.
• Gather, review, and validate property, ownership, lien, and tax information from multiple data sources.
• Compile findings into organized PDF research packets and upload them to the internal order management system.
• Contact government offices, municipalities, or other entities to verify and clarify records.
• Make outbound verification calls to obtain missing information when required.
• Document research actions, findings, and notes accurately within company systems.
• Ensure all submitted information meets company quality standards.

Required profile

• Strong internet research skills with the ability to navigate government websites and public databases efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify critical information in large documents.
• Comfortable making professional phone calls to verify information.
• Professional written and verbal English communication.
• Experience with web‑based systems, PDF documents, spreadsheets, and online research tools.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, camera‑on setting.
