About the role
A client in the oil and gas industry, represented by Stratostaff East Africa, is hiring a Refueling Attendant in Nairobi. The post holder receives client products by truck, dips the storage tanks to check stock levels accurately and maintains high safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Dip the product tanks and record the readings carefully in the gauge books
- Maintain good housekeeping in the tank farm, sampling area and pipeline network
- Ensure the product stored in the tanks meets high quality and standard
- Coordinate with customers so trucks are refueled according to the signed DNV and there are no stock-outs on site
- Follow the site's safety and security procedures
Required profile
- Diploma in Mechatronic Engineering
- At least 1 year of experience
- Driving license (BCE)
Required skills
- Strong written and spoken English
- Computer/IT skills
