Regional Manager – AIM Programme

About the role

The Regional Manager – AIM will lead program planning, budgeting, implementation and monitoring for the AIM project across the Kisii region. Reporting to the Field Operations Manager and Programme Manager, the role ensures alignment, coordination and quality delivery of micro‑finance and livelihood activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall planning, execution and management of the AIM programme at the regional level, ensuring targets are met.
• Supervise Technical Sector Officers and Branch Managers, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, training and performance.
• Monitor and coordinate branch activities, ensure accurate data collection, MIS reporting and compliance with donor guidelines.
• Oversee regional procurement, budget control and cash‑flow to support day‑to‑day operations.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders to enhance programme visibility and impact.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Anthropology, Sociology, Business Administration or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• 4–6 years of field management or direct implementation experience in development, livelihood, micro‑finance or women’s empowerment programmes.
• Experience working with extreme poor and marginalized communities in an international development context.
