Regional Sales Manager

About the role

The Regional Sales Manager will lead a sales team in an assigned district, driving growth and profitability for The Chefs' Warehouse, a leading food‑service distributor.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market to achieve company sales goals and profitability.
• Lead, coach, and develop Sales Associates, conducting one‑on‑one reviews to improve performance.
• Create and execute action plans for lead generation, prospecting, and market penetration.
• Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
• Provide accurate, competitive pricing, and support Sales Associates in preparing proposals and presentations while maintaining profit margins.
• Control expenses to meet budget guidelines and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Recruit and hire Sales Associates in line with senior‑management criteria.
• Report performance metrics and provide timely feedback to senior management.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of sales experience, preferably in food‑service or a related industry.
• Proven ability to manage and develop sales teams.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience creating and executing strategic sales plans.
• Excellent communication and coaching abilities.
• Experience in pricing, proposal preparation, and budget management.
