Regional Sales Manager - Kisumu

About the role

Burn is seeking a results‑driven Regional Sales Manager to lead its business performance in Kisumu and surrounding clusters. You will be responsible for executing the regional commercial strategy, driving sustainable sales growth, and ensuring high‑quality customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive overall regional business performance across all assigned channels and clusters.
• Lead execution of the regional commercial strategy to support national objectives and growth plans.
• Manage regional profitability through efficient deployment of people, stock, operational resources and cost controls.
• Drive customer acquisition, onboarding, repayment efficiency, usage and retention outcomes.
• Coach, mentor and performance‑manage STLs, TLs, clerks, retention representatives and field sales agents.
• Oversee stock accountability, daily reconciliations, ageing management, redistribution planning and loss‑prevention controls.
• Identify commercial opportunities, operational gaps and performance risks, implementing corrective actions promptly.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, commercial processes, reporting standards and governance requirements.
• Collaborate with Commercial Operations, CX, Aftersales, Finance, Supply Chain and other support teams for smooth regional execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of field sales management experience.
• Proven experience managing distributed field teams in FMCG, PAYGO, energy or telecom sectors.
• Strong commercial acumen, analytical ability and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated people‑management and coaching capability.
• Ability to thrive in high‑pressure, fast‑paced environments.
