Registered Nurse – ICU 13‑Week Assignment (System Pool)

About the role

BayCare Health Systems is seeking experienced ICU/CVICU Registered Nurses to join its Staffing Resource Office team for a 13‑week system pool assignment. You will work three 12‑hour shifts per day with an every‑other‑weekend schedule, providing critical care in a designated hospital within the BayCare network.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality patient care in an ICU or CVICU setting.
• Follow the unit‑provided schedule and adapt to assignments across the BayCare system.
• Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and care coordination.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required profile

• Current Registered Nurse license (must not expire within 30 days of hire).
• Active BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications.
• Associate degree in nursing (ASN); BSN preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in an acute CVICU environment.
• Independent transportation for travel to assigned facilities.
• Flexibility and willingness to work the specified shift pattern.

Required skills

• BLS (Basic Life Support).
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – AHA.
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR.
• CCRN certification (preferred).
