Registered Valuer

About the role

The company is seeking a Registered Valuer to join its real‑estate team in Westlands. The role involves delivering accurate property valuations for a variety of purposes, supporting clients such as banks, law firms and insurance companies. You will work closely with senior valuers and maintain high professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct property and asset inspections and prepare detailed valuation reports.
• Perform valuations for sales, mortgages, insurance, foreclosures and bookkeeping.
• Carry out market research, property searches and comparative analysis.
• Obtain maps, searches and supporting documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Review and revise valuation reports, ensuring compliance with professional standards.
• Guide and supervise assistant and trainee valuers.
• Manage client instructions and nurture relationships with banks, law firms and other stakeholders.
• Prepare tender, pre‑qualification and valuation panel applications and identify new business opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Land Economics, Property Studies or a related field.
• Graduate or full member of the Institution of Surveyors of Kenya (ISK) – Valuation Chapter.
• Registered Valuer status.
• 2–3 years of experience as a Registered Valuer.
• Strong analytical, communication and client‑management abilities.
• High level of integrity, professionalism and attention to detail.
