Relationship Manager – SAHL Portfolio

About the role

The SAHL Relationship Manager will lead corporate and retail customer relations for the Gateway Branch, focusing on Shari’ah‑compliant product sales and cross‑selling across the bank’s product basket. The role involves close collaboration with relationship teams and the retail branch network to grow the business while ensuring risk mitigation and high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead corporate and retail customer relationships, driving sales of Shari’ah‑compliant products and cross‑selling other basket products to meet targets.
• Liaise with relationship teams and the retail branch network to expand the SAHL book of business.
• Implement risk‑management measures to prevent fraud and revenue leakages.
• Train and develop branch staff on Shari’ah‑compliant portfolio administration.
• Maintain proper documentation and administration of Shari’ah‑compliant portfolios.
• Manage Portfolio at Risk (PAR) in line with set targets.
• Maintain and grow existing SAHL customers through enhanced relationships.
• Achieve targets for both liabilities and assets in terms of numbers and values.
• Monitor and resolve SAHL customer complaints, continuously reviewing service delivery standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree; Islamic Banking Certification is an advantage.
• Minimum 3 years of general work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in banking operations, Sharia banking, credit, and sales & relationships.
