Remote AI Prompt & Policy Specialist

About the role

Turing, a leading research accelerator for frontier AI labs, is looking for a Remote AI Prompt & Policy Specialist. You will shape how AI systems interact with tools, APIs, and users across multiple locales, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a smooth user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, review, and refine prompts and instructions for AI systems that integrate with external services such as Slack, PayPal, and similar platforms.
• Interpret API and JSON schemas to guarantee correct parameter usage and tool behavior.
• Run basic SQL queries to validate data, perform checks, and support analysis of AI or tool performance.
• Create and maintain policies and guidelines governing AI interactions, content handling, and workflow automation.
• Apply safety and content‑filtering standards to detect and mitigate unsafe or non‑compliant outputs.
• Evaluate AI responses for critical‑reasoning quality, parameter correctness, and policy adherence.
• Support multilingual use cases by validating prompts and responses across diverse locales.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and safety teams to iterate on prompts, policies, and workflows.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of experience in AI operations, content review, QA, product operations, policy, or technical support.
• Strong analytical and critical‑reasoning abilities.
• Excellent written communication for documenting edge cases and recommendations.

Required skills

• API/JSON literacy – ability to read schemas and verify parameter usage.
• SQL basics – ability to run simple queries for validation and analysis.
• Prompt engineering and policy design for AI‑driven workflows.
• Familiarity with tools such as Slack, PayPal, or comparable platforms.
