Remote Paralegal (Commercial Litigation & Collections)

About the role

This remote paralegal position supports a Phoenix‑based commercial litigation and collections firm. You will work as the offshore half of an on‑shore paralegal team, drafting pleadings, tracking deadlines, and managing workflow so attorneys can focus on substantive matters.

Key responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, subpoenas, and collections documents from scratch.
• Maintain accurate case files, docket deadlines, and statutory limitation dates using the firm’s docketing system.
• Run daily deadline scans and flag upcoming items for the supervising attorney.
• Prepare exhibits, binders, and documentation for hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Organize discovery materials, assist with privilege logs, and coordinate e‑discovery vendors.
• Provide written status updates and reduce administrative burden for the on‑shore team.

Required profile

• Strong working knowledge of U.S. civil litigation procedure.
• Excellent written English with a focus on document precision.
• Proven ability to manage high‑volume matters without missed deadlines.
• Experience supporting commercial litigation and collections cases.

Required skills

• Familiarity with docketing systems.
• Understanding of e‑discovery processes.
