Retail Supervisor (Part-time)

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Retail Supervisor to lead our Clintons store in Guernsey. You will motivate the sales team, ensure excellent customer service and help maintain a welcoming store environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support the sales team to deliver high‑quality customer service.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers, helping them find cards and gifts.
• Assist with inventory control, stock replenishment and ensure the store is well‑stocked.
• Create attractive visual displays and maintain store presentation.
• Handle opening and closing duties, cash handling and store cleanliness.
• Support the team in achieving sales targets and monitor performance.
• Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly.

Required profile

• Previous retail experience, preferably in cards, gifts or a similar environment.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for customer service.
• Ability to lead by example, motivate a team and foster a positive atmosphere.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
• Keen eye for visual merchandising and store presentation.
• Flexible and adaptable, willing to take on new challenges.
