Risk Executive

About the role

Pesapal is looking for two proactive and analytical Risk Executives to strengthen its fraud prevention, transaction monitoring and operational risk management capabilities. In this role you will protect the integrity of the payment ecosystem by identifying emerging fraud trends, investigating suspicious transactions and managing chargebacks.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor transactions across POS, Card Not Present (CNP), online and other payment channels to identify and investigate suspicious activity.
• Proactively identify emerging fraud trends and recommend mitigation measures.
• Investigate and resolve chargebacks, maintaining strong chargeback performance.
• Support operational risk initiatives and collaborate with Commercial, Merchant Support, Operations, Compliance, Finance and Technology teams.
• Deliver timely, accurate investigations and continuously improve fraud detection capabilities.
