Risk Manager – Public Cloud (Malaysia/India)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Risk Manager to lead operational risk for our public‑cloud environment. The position can be based in Malaysia or India and will work closely with technology, audit and risk teams to ensure the cloud domain operates within the bank’s risk appetite.

Key responsibilities

• Define and operate a control environment for people, processes and technology in the public‑cloud domain.
• Identify, assess, manage and govern risk using the Bank’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
• Conduct proactive controls assessments, issue management and facilitate audit and regulatory inspections.
• Maintain and continuously improve risk and control processes for the first line of defence.
• Document risk‑management procedures, meeting minutes, audit engagements and risk assessments.
• Maintain a central repository of risk profiles, analysis, stakeholder matrices and audit status.
• Provide guidance to Cloud & DevOps Portfolio Heads on risk‑aware technical solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operational risk management within a financial institution.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies and associated risk factors.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technology, audit, compliance and senior business stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and documentation skills.
