Road Repair Coordinator – Driver Support

About the role

The Road Repair Coordinator ensures that drivers and company equipment receive timely assistance during road breakdowns or emergencies. Working from the Administration Building, you will coordinate repairs, manage vendor relationships, and keep accurate records of all service activities.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to driver calls and satellite messages reporting service problems or emergencies.
• Prioritize, schedule, and authorize repairs based on urgency.
• Analyze breakdown information and develop repair plans for on‑road or facility repairs.
• Identify and contact appropriate service providers, confirming availability, parts, and costs.
• Direct drivers to the correct service location and communicate updates to vendors, fleet managers, and internal teams.
• Enter and maintain breakdown notes, repair records, and cost data in the company database.
• Evaluate vendor invoices for accuracy and process payments.
• Maintain safety standards, enforce company policies, and participate in quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Ability to lead and manage tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving and multitasking abilities.
• Professional, courteous telephone demeanor.
