Road Repair Coordinator

About the role

The Road Repair Coordinator directs drivers, company employees and service providers to diagnose and resolve road breakdowns of company equipment. The role ensures timely communication, schedules repairs, and manages related documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to driver calls and satellite messages reporting service problems or emergencies.
• Prioritize and schedule repairs based on urgency, authorizing costs and negotiating with vendors.
• Analyze breakdown information and develop repair plans for on‑road or nearest facility service.
• Identify and contact appropriate service providers, confirming availability, parts, hours and costs.
• Communicate repair instructions and locations to drivers and keep internal teams updated.
• Enter and maintain breakdown notes, repair records, costs and vendor information in the company database.
• Evaluate vendor invoices for accuracy and process payments.
• Promote safety, enforce company policies and participate in quality‑management initiatives.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Ability to lead and manage in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail, problem‑solving and multitasking abilities.
• Professional telephone etiquette.
