About the role

The Sahl Relationship Manager at the Gateway Branch will lead customer relations for both corporate and retail clients, focusing on Sharia‑compliant products. This role involves driving sales, managing risk, and ensuring high service standards within the branch.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead corporate and retail customer relationships.
• Sell Sharia‑compliant products and cross‑sell other basket products to meet targets.
• Collaborate with relationship teams and the retail branch network to grow business.
• Mitigate risks such as fraud and revenue leakages.
• Train and develop branch staff.
• Ensure proper documentation and administration of Sharia‑compliant portfolios.
• Manage PAR in line with set targets.
• Lead, grow, and maintain the SAHL book of business.
• Maintain and expand existing SAHL customer relationships.
• Achieve liability and asset targets in both number and value.
• Monitor and resolve SAHL customer complaints, continuously improving service delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Islamic Banking Certification (advantageous).
• Minimum 3 years of general work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in banking operations.
• 2 years of Sharia banking experience.
• 2 years of credit experience.
• 2 years of sales and relationship experience.
