Sales Associate – Retail Wine Specialist

About the role
Join The Wine Shop team to help customers celebrate every occasion with the perfect wine. As a Sales Associate you will provide friendly, knowledgeable service in a fast‑paced retail environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver superior customer service and ensure total satisfaction.
- Assist shoppers with product selection, share wine knowledge and answer questions.
- Handle cash transactions, operate the POS system and balance the till.
- Support merchandising, receive shipments and keep shelves tidy.
- Follow health, safety and security procedures.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of customer‑service experience.
- Smart Serve Certification.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lb regularly.
- Flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Required skills
- Experience with computer‑based Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Smart Serve certification.
