Sales Attendant – Baggage Wrapping Services

About the role

The Sales Attendant works at busy airport locations, promoting and selling baggage‑wrapping services and travel essentials to both local and international travellers. You will be the face of the company, delivering fast, accurate service while driving revenue and maintaining high operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Approach and engage customers to sell baggage‑wrapping and travel‑accessory products, meeting daily and monthly sales targets.
• Identify traveller needs and recommend items such as neck pillows, adapters, bags and comfort accessories.
• Process all transactions through the POS system, handling cash, card and mobile payments responsibly.
• Balance cash collections at the end of each shift and report discrepancies immediately.
• Support promotional campaigns, product launches and seasonal sales initiatives.
• Maintain awareness of pricing, discounts, and product availability.
• Deliver courteous, efficient service while ensuring accuracy and professionalism.

Required profile

• Mid‑level experience (approximately 2 years) in a customer‑facing sales environment.
• Willingness to work shift‑based schedules, including weekends, public holidays and night shifts.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, sales‑driven attitude.
• Ability to handle cash and reconcile transactions accurately.
• Commitment to meeting individual sales targets and supporting team goals.
