Sales Executive - Auto Commercial Vehicles

About the role

Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating across the East African region (Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and South Sudan). On behalf of its client, it is recruiting a Sales Executive to work in Nairobi and the surrounding area. The job holder is responsible for the sales and marketing of the client's brand in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Map markets and identify customers and segments for the client's brand
• Generate business from corporate and retail customers and monitor activities that raise customer satisfaction
• Execute promotional activities and create brand awareness in the local market
• Follow up customers by mail and phone to meet sales targets
• Penetrate new markets and provide market intelligence to the line manager
• Attend trade exhibitions and conferences and submit reports on time
• Ensure customer satisfaction with the product and close deals quickly
• Present monthly market summaries and sales strategies to the Head of Sales and keep the sales pipeline updated daily

Required profile

• Experience preferably in auto commercial vehicle sales, especially ILCVs, buses and pickups
• Understanding of the auto industry business is essential
• Proof of previous sales success desirable
• Bachelor of Commerce in Sales, Marketing or a related field
• Valid driver's license and driving skills
