Sales Executive - Cleaning, Pest Control and Hygiene

About the role

A growing provider of professional cleaning, pest control and hygiene solutions is recruiting a Sales Executive in Nairobi to drive business growth, acquire new clients and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. The role covers lead generation, promotion of the company's services and achievement of set sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell cleaning, pest control, hygiene and related services to existing and prospective customers.
• Identify and pursue new business through cold calling, referrals, networking, field visits and other sales initiatives.
• Generate and follow up on sales leads to convert prospects into customers.
• Conduct customer needs assessments and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, and prepare sales presentations and service proposals.
• Achieve agreed monthly and quarterly sales targets and keep an active sales pipeline.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries, concerns and complaints and coordinate with relevant teams.
• Research the market and competitors, and maintain records of customer interactions and sales activities.
• Prepare regular sales reports and coordinate with operations and other departments.
• Take part in promotional activities, client meetings, exhibitions and other business development events.

Required profile

• Diploma in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in sales, business development or a related role.
• Experience selling cleaning, hygiene, pest control or other facility-related services is an added advantage.
• Highly motivated, customer-focused and comfortable with field sales, cold calling and business development.
