Sales Executive – Telecommunications (Kenya)

About the role

Media World is seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to lead its telecommunications and digital services expansion in Kenya. Based in Nairobi, the role combines remote work with field‑based activities, allowing you to engage directly with telecom operators, mobile e‑wallets, content providers and strategic partners.

Key responsibilities

• Represent Media World as the official sales and business representative in the Kenyan market.
• Develop and maintain relationships with telecom operators, mobile e‑wallets, content providers and other digital partners.
• Identify decision‑makers (VAS heads, DCB managers, product managers, etc.) and map account structures.
• Generate new business opportunities in Value‑Added Services, Direct Carrier Billing, mobile content and aggregation.
• Present solutions, negotiate commercial terms and close partnership agreements.
• Achieve assigned sales targets, revenue goals and business‑development KPIs.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities.
• Provide regular sales reports, pipeline updates and forecasts to the head office in Jordan.
• Support project implementation, client onboarding and ongoing relationship management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in the telecommunications sector, preferably with VAS, DCB or mobile content services.
• Strong ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high productivity.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with senior stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel within Kenya for client meetings and field activities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Value‑Added Services (VAS) and Direct Carrier Billing (DCB) business models.
• Understanding of mobile content solutions and telecom aggregation processes.
