Sales Manager (FMCG)

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time Sales Manager (FMCG) based in Mulot, Bomet. The role covers sales strategy, building and managing a distribution network, leading field sales teams and reporting to management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue and growth targets, driving sales across retail, wholesale and distribution channels
• Build and manage a distribution network of wholesalers, distributors, supermarkets, kiosks and independent retailers, and onboard new distributors and key accounts
• Ensure products are consistently available and visible in target markets and work with marketing teams on trade promotions and brand awareness
• Lead, supervise and train field sales teams, set targets, assign territories and conduct regular field visits
• Negotiate sales agreements and commercial terms with distributors and large accounts, and maintain strong customer relationships
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and product performance, and provide regular sales reports, forecasts and market insights to management

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Commerce or a related field
• At least four years of experience in FMCG sales management
• Experience in flour milling, food manufacturing or related FMCG industries is highly preferred
• Proven experience managing distributors, retail networks and field sales teams, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
