Sales Manager - Solar Products

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time Sales Manager for its solar products business, based in Mombasa. The role covers driving sales of solar inverters, power storage solutions, solar batteries and related energy systems to corporate, commercial and retail customers, with a salary of KShs 80,000-120,000 plus commissions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to reach revenue and growth targets, and build a pipeline of monthly and annual forecasts.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base across corporate, commercial and retail markets.
• Find, engage and convert corporate, institutional, commercial and residential customers, and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to after-sales follow-up.
• Conduct product demonstrations and handle customer inquiries, objections and negotiations.
• Maintain client records, opportunity pipelines and regular communication with customers.
• Work with technical, installation and customer support teams, and track sales performance against targets.
• Travel as required to visit customers, attend industry events and develop new markets in assigned territories.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, Renewable Energy or a related field.
• At least three years of corporate sales experience.
• Proven experience selling solar products, inverters, power tanks, solar batteries or new energy solutions.
• Experience with corporate clients, distributors and business partners is an added advantage.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of B2B and B2C sales in the solar or renewable energy sector.
• Excellent sales, negotiation and closing skills.
• Strong knowledge of solar energy products and solutions.
