Sales & Marketing Head – Edible Oils & Fats

About the role

The Sales & Marketing Head for Edible Oils & Fats will steer the commercial strategy of a leading FMCG organization in Kenya. Reporting to the Customer Response Team Head, the role carries full P&L responsibility and is pivotal to driving revenue growth, market share, and brand performance across Kenya and regional markets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the commercial strategy for the Edible Oils & Fats category in line with overall business growth and profitability objectives.
• Own the category P&L, driving performance across pricing, product mix, margins, and volume.
• Lead business planning and forecast alignment with Production, Supply Chain, Finance, and other key functions.
• Identify opportunities for category growth through portfolio optimisation, innovation, value‑added products, and premium segments.
• Manage and mentor Regional Sales Heads, Trade Marketing Lead, and Sales Operations teams.

Required profile

• Executive‑level professional with extensive experience in FMCG sales and marketing.
• Minimum 12 years of relevant experience leading large commercial teams.
• Open to candidates of all nationalities.
