Sales & Marketing Manager (Avocado Export)

About the role

A client of Summit Recruitment & Search, operating in the agri-sector and exporting fresh avocados, avocado oil, frozen mangoes and other fruits, is looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager to lead its commercial function. The role focuses on growing sales, building strong relationships with buyers and positioning the company as a trusted supplier of high-quality avocado products.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to grow avocado export volumes across key international markets.
• Identify, pursue and manage relationships with importers, distributors and wholesalers' buyers.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing and supply agreements while ensuring profitability and long-term partnerships.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer demand to inform sales planning and forecasting.
• Collaborate with farms, operations, quality control and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and compliance with export standards.
• Manage branding, promotions and digital marketing initiatives to strengthen market presence and customer engagement.
• Prepare sales forecasts, budgets and performance reports for management review.
• Represent the company at trade fairs, buyer meetings and industry events.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related field.
• Proven track record in driving sales growth, regional expansion and delivering strong revenue performance.

Required skills

• Knowledge and experience working with CRM tools.
• Demonstrable knowledge and skills using AI for marketing, including content creation tools.
