Sales & Marketing Manager - uPVC / HDPE Pipes

About the role

Pipe Masters & Plastics Limited, a manufacturing company, is looking for a Sales & Marketing Manager to oversee local and regional sales, promotions and campaigns. The position is open to Nairobi, Mombasa or any other city across Kenya, and is open to immediate joining.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee local and regional sales, promotions and campaigns, and direct and coordinate all sales activities
• Plan and direct the hiring and training of new Sales Representatives, and set sales quotas and goals
• Prepare sales budgets and projections, approve expenditures and track sales statistics
• Set discount rates and price schedules, and handle customer complaints
• Advise distributors and dealers on policies and SOPs, and develop relationships with key clients
• Define and execute territory sales plans, identify emerging markets and make data-informed decisions
• Serve as the face of the organization to internal and external partners

Required profile

• At least 10 years of sales and marketing experience selling uPVC / HDPE pipes and fittings (mandatory)
• Proven track record in the pipes / building materials industry
• Degree in sales, marketing or a related field is an added advantage
• Experience with water project contractors and hardware stores is an added advantage
• Willingness to travel extensively to meet clients across the country
• Motorbike license is an added advantage

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of the PVC pipe industry, including product specifications, applications and market dynamics
• Excellent communication, negotiation and closing skills
• Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs
