Sales & Marketing Specialist – Digital Lead Generation

About the role

Horizon Bee Africa is seeking a proactive Sales & Marketing Specialist to expand its digital footprint and drive business growth across Africa. You will nurture leads, manage online communities, and turn conversations into sales opportunities for beekeeping training, equipment, and related services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow social media presence on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X and WhatsApp.
• Respond to inquiries and convert online conversations into qualified sales opportunities.
• Conduct outbound outreach to potential customers, partners, NGOs, cooperatives, agribusinesses and farmers.
• Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, newsletters and follow‑up sequences.
• Build and maintain a lead pipeline using CRM tools or spreadsheets.
• Coordinate with the sales team to track prospects and close deals.
• Create engaging marketing content such as posts, promotional campaigns and product announcements.
• Monitor campaign performance and recommend strategies to improve engagement and conversions.
• Identify new business opportunities, partnerships and markets.
• Assist in planning digital marketing campaigns that increase brand awareness and sales.

Required profile

• Experience in sales, digital marketing, business development or customer relationship management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence initiating conversations with new people and selling through education.
• Creative thinking for reaching new customers.
• Highly organized, self‑motivated and able to manage multiple tasks independently.
• Interest or knowledge in agriculture, beekeeping, agribusiness or rural development is a plus.
