Sales Specialist – Clean Energy Solutions

About the role

The Sales Specialist is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Kisumu County, Kenya. You will identify and engage prospective customers, present the benefits of Ahero Green Fuel’s clean‑energy briquettes, and close sales with households, institutions, and distribution partners.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach prospective customers across the region.
• Deliver compelling sales pitches and product demonstrations.
• Negotiate terms and close sales agreements.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and manage follow‑ups.
• Provide after‑sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
• Track sales performance and report market feedback.
• Contribute to local marketing and outreach activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams on inventory availability and delivery schedules.
• Support basic training sessions for customers and partners on product use.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Proven sales skills, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing.
• Experience guiding small sales teams and conducting product demonstrations.
• Basic knowledge of, or strong interest in, clean energy or environmental sustainability.
• Ability to work on‑site, travel within the region, and manage time and territories efficiently.
• Fluency in English and Swahili; additional local languages are a plus.
• Prior field‑sales or community‑based sales experience; FMCG or energy‑product experience is advantageous.
