About the role
We are seeking an experienced SEA I&E Supervisor to manage sea import and export clearance operations, coordinate with ports and customs, and ensure timely and safe delivery of shipments.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage daily port customs clearance plans based on shipment priorities and operational requirements.
- Coordinate with customs clearing agents, transport providers, and port authorities to ensure timely clearance, release, and delivery of cargo.
- Monitor clearance progress, resolve inspection issues, manage container abnormalities, and prepare daily and weekly performance reports.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Trade or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in customs clearance, port operations, freight forwarding or logistics, preferably in Kenya.
- Hands‑on experience with sea freight, container management and cargo release processes.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word.
