Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to lead financial operations for multiple client accounts across diverse industries. The role demands meticulous attention to detail, strong ownership, and the ability to collaborate with both internal teams and external clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full month‑end close process
• Perform bank, credit‑card, and balance‑sheet reconciliations
• Reconcile external systems such as Shopify, payroll, and expense platforms
• Ensure accurate transaction coding and maintain organized workpapers
• Supervise and review junior staff work
• Handle 1099 processing and support audits and special projects
• Communicate directly with clients to address financial inquiries

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 4–6 years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, including SaaS, NGOs, and inventory accounting
• Advanced English proficiency (C1)
